In het verleden heeft de raad middels een motie het college opgeroepen om met een diftar voorstel te komen. Hiernaast ook nog vele ingezonden brieven van inwoners en persberichten met meningen van de diverse politieke partijen. De achtergrond is een milieudoelstelling om de hoeveelheid restafval, wat verbrand wordt, zo veel als mogelijk te beperken. Verbranden, slecht voor milieu, is duur en gaat nog duurder worden dus ook financieel een drijfveer om de hoeveelheid restafval te beperken. Het resultaat moet zijn dat de vervuiler, in dit geval de slechte scheider, betaalt. Op bijgevoegde staatje is duidelijk te zien dat Ambacht het slecht doet wat betreft de hoeveelheid restafval. De basis is een vast tarief, wat lager is dan het huidige vaste tarief, wat elk jaar door de gemeenteraad vastgesteld wordt. Hierbovenop komt een variabel tarief per inworp restafval in de ondergrondse container (tarief voor een 30 of 60 liter zak) of ledigen van de minicontainer (tarief voor 140 of een 140 liter container). Tevens is er rekening gehouden met grote gezinnen wat een kortingsbedrag oplevert per gezinslid. Dus hoe meer gezinsleden hoe hoger het totale kortingsbedrag is. Er dient ook een aanzienlijke invertering gedaan worden om alle ondergrondse container hiervoor geschikt te maken. Omdat de huidige container aan het einde van hun levensduur zijn is ook als we niets doen een behoorlijke investering noodzakelijk. Wij zouden het voorliggende voorstel op een paar punten aangepast willen zien:\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--20  wrapper__gutter--none\"\n  >\n  \t<div class=\"wrapper__container wrapper__container-width-large--default\">\n\t  <div class=\"wrapper__inner wrapper__width-large--24 wrapper__width-mobile--24\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"block-lists  block-lists__color--black\">\n\t\t<p class=\"paragraph  paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default\">\n\t\t\t<\/p><ul class=\"block-lists lists__lists lists__weight--medium lists__color--black lists__type--default\">\n\t<li>Een proefperiode van minimaal 6 maanden op kleine schaal, bijvoorbeeld wijk De Sandeling, om hiervan te leren voordat het systeem in de gehele gemeente uitgerold gaat worden.<\/li><li>Om het geldende service niveau voor inwoners op ongeveer hetzelfde peil te houden afzien van het verwijderen van 100-150 ondergrondse containers in de bestaande wijken.
