Dit heeft tot gevolg dat de leefbaarheid en gezelligheid van de omgeving wordt aangetast. Ondernemers die gevestigd zijn in de buurt of naast een leegstaand winkelpand ervaren dat hun winkelstraat minder aantrekkelijk wordt. En dat heeft natuurlijk gevolgen voor het aantal klanten.\u00a0\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--30 wrapper__spacing-bottom-desktop--20  wrapper__gutter--none\"\n  >\n  \t<div class=\"wrapper__container wrapper__container-width-large--default\">\n\t  <div class=\"wrapper__inner wrapper__width-large--10 wrapper__width-desktop--22 wrapper__width-mobile--24 wrapper__offset-large--6 wrapper__offset-desktop--2 wrapper__offset-mobile--0\">\n\t\t<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph paragraph__align--left paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tD66 Helmond is van mening dat mogelijkheden moeten worden onderzocht om leegstaande panden, in overleg met de pandeigenaren, te gebruiken als\u00a0\u00a0ontmoetingsplek voor studenten of buurtbewoners of voor flexwerkers. Ook kunnen leegstaande panden aantrekkelijker worden gemaakt door raamfolies of 3D-visualisaties te plakken.\u00a0<br><br>Hiervoor kan een actieplan worden uitgewerkt in samenwerking met Volop, die elders in de stad ook betrokken zijn bij het inrichten van leegstaande panden.\u00a0<br><br>Een motie met deze strekking stond dinsdag 18 juni op initiatief van D66 Helmond op de agenda van de Raadsvergadering.  De motie is opgesteld door D66 in samenwerking met GroenLinks en samen met PvdA, CDA, FvD en 50Plus ingediend.
