94 Miljoen voor Helmond. <a href=\"https:\/\/d66.nl\/helmond\/mensen\/gabyvandenwaardenburg\/\" data-type=\"people-type\" data-id=\"174\">Wethouder Gaby van den Waardenburg<\/a> is al twee coalities geleden begonnen met de lobby, bij Brainport, de Provincie en het Rijk, om dit voor elkaar te krijgen. De gezamenlijke inspanningen werpen nu haar vruchten af.<br><br>In de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/gemeentehelmond\/\"><strong>Gemeente Helmond<\/strong><\/a> bouwen we aan de toekomst van de stad. We willen niet alleen meer woningen realiseren, maar ook een stad waarin mensen graag wonen, met ruimte voor groen, ontmoeting en goede voorzieningen. Daarvoor moeten we nu de juiste stappen<br>zetten.<br><br>De rijksbijdrage van ruim 94 miljoen is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.nl\/helmond\/helmond-krijgt-gigantisch-bedrag-na-zes-jaar-lobbyen-dit-is-echt-historisch~a2f528a4\/\">een historische stap<\/a> als het gaat om de ontwikkeling van het centrum. Als veel verkeer straks die snellere route kiest in plaats van dwars door de stad te rijden, gaat de leefbaarheid in het centrum er flink op vooruit.<br><br>Ook andere verkeersprojecten, zoals rondom de nieuwe woningen in het centrum en op het Ehad-terrein, worden uit dit potje betaald. Wat precies en hoe, is nog onderwerp van studie. \u201eAlles hangt met elkaar samen.
