Een motie van D66, mede-ingediend door PRO, om stoepladen mogelijk te maken kreeg donderdagavond geen meerderheid in de gemeenteraad.<br><br>D66 vraagt al langere tijd aandacht voor stoepladen. Eerder sprak de gemeenteraad zich unaniem uit voor onderzoek naar mogelijkheden om elektrische auto\u2019s met eigen stroom te laden. De laadvisie waarin dit verder zou worden uitgewerkt, is ruim een jaar later nog altijd niet door de raad behandeld. Ook meerdere aangekondigde deadlines zijn niet gehaald.<br><br>\u201cInwoners wachten inmiddels al heel lang. Je schaft niet zomaar een elektrische auto en een laadpunt aan als je niet weet of je die straks vanuit je eigen woning kunt gebruiken. Wat ons betreft hebben we lang genoeg onderzocht en is het tijd om een keuze te maken,\u201d zegt D66-raadslid Michiel Bruinewoud. \u201cIn andere gemeenten is hier al ervaring mee opgedaan. Gebruik die kennis, we hoeven niet opnieuw uit te vinden wat elders al werkt. Het kan dus w\u00e9l! Maar inwoners kunnen niet meer wachten. Laden in Harderwijk is ontzettend duur en de inwoners kunnen dit zelf niet oplossen. We moeten doorpakken en duidelijkheid geven.\u201d<br><br>Met de motie wilde D66 stoepladen met een kabelgoot per 1 januari toestaan. Ook verzocht D66 het college toe te zeggen dat de situaties waar nu al met kabelmatten wordt geladen worden gedoogd tot 1 januari.<br><br>De noodzaak om tot een besluit te komen wordt volgens D66 groter doordat de salderingsregeling per 1 januari 2027 stopt. Ook liggen de tarieven voor openbaar laden in Harderwijk relatief hoog. Voor inwoners die thuis zelf stroom opwekken, kan laden vanuit de eigen woning daardoor steeds aantrekkelijker worden.<br>Het college beloofde voor de zesde keer in twee jaar tijd om nu echt met een plan te willen komen. Of het plan daadwerkelijk komt en of het een oplossing biedt is vooralsnog onduidelijk.<br><br>Tegen de motie stemden: VVD, CU, Gemeentebelang en CDA. De fractie van HA stemde samen met D66 en PRO voor.
