tijdelijke verhuur te veel onzekerheid met zich meebrengt voor huurders. Het recht op wonen moet een uitgangspunt zijn van het Nederlandse woonbeleid. Door vaste huurcontracten weer de norm te maken, dragen we bij aan een betrouwbare en duurzame huisvesting. Dit amendement introduceert namelijk bepaalde uitzonderingscategorie\u00ebn waarbij tijdelijke huurcontracten nog wel mogelijk zijn. Bijvoorbeeld voor huurders die niet uit Nederland komen, zoals buitenlandse studenten. D66 is kritisch op dit onderscheid tussen huurders, al bestaat dat nu ook. Paul van Meenen vroeg de initiatiefnemers of de wet niet juist rechtsbescherming zou moeten bieden aan alle kwetsbare huurders, ook studenten die een onzelfstandige woonruimte huren. Om deze reden heeft D66-Kamerlid Faissal Boulakjar samen met SP-Kamerlid Sandra Beckerman een amendement ingediend dat vaste huurcontracten ook de norm maakt voor onzelfstandige woonruimtes.
