block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tEigenlijk hebben wij allemaal een rol in polarisatie, want iedereen vindt wel iets van bepaalde onderwerpen. Of dat nu gaat over de huisvesting van vluchtelingen, het verbieden van vuurwerk of de aanpak van de Coronacrisis, vrijwel iedereen heeft wel een mening over de meest ideale oplossing. En die meningen lopen nog wel eens uiteen.\u00a0 Gelukkig maar, want het is een groot goed dat we een eigen mening mogen hebben en die ook kunnen uiten.<br>\u00a0<br>Maar wat nu als iemand zijn mening aan mij wil opdringen en mijn mening niet respecteert? Dan wordt het iets ingewikkelder. En als groepen mensen dan opstaan en met geweld en intimidatie over de grenzen van het toelaatbare heen gaan, kan een polariserende situatie ontstaan, als het ontbreekt aan nuance in het midden. Juist de overgrote meerderheid in de samenleving is in staat om de extreme idee\u00ebn te nuanceren, door niet mee te gaan in het extreme gedachtengoed, waarin jouw stem niet meer gehoord wordt. Samen kunnen we het verschil maken.
