Alleen gaat het bij de helft van de zaken niet door, omdat de tegenpartij niet wil meewerken. In veel gevallen gaat het niet om een lastige buurman die tegenwerkt, maar om de woningcorporaties. D66 vraagt daarom aan het college om de woningcorporaties op de vingers te tikken. \u201cAls iemand zijn recht wil halen, mag niemand dat blokkeren\u201d.<\/strong>\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n de oplossing voor burenruzies, conflicten in VvE\u2019s en problemen met woningcorporaties. Als de beide partijen\u00a0er tijdens de zitting uitkomen, zorgt de wijkrechter ervoor dat de afspraken op papier worden gezet, en anders neemt de rechter zelf een besluit. De wijkrechter is daarmee een laagdrempelige stap voordat er een volwaardige rechtszaak nodig is. De partijen zijn alleen niet verplicht mee te doen met de rechtszaak, en na een werkbezoek aan de wijkrechter begreep D66 dat het vaak de woningcorporaties zijn die weigeren om mee te doen.<br>\u00a0<br>D66 raadsleden Marieke van Doorn en Peter Mekers vragen daarom om opheldering aan het college. \u201dWat weerhoudt de woningcorporaties om mee te werken aan de wijkrechter? We willen dat het college dat uitzoekt en met de woningcorporaties om tafel gaat\u201d, zegt Peter Mekers. \u201cWant iedere huurder heeft rechten en moet een kans hebben om zijn gelijk te halen\u201d. Marieke van Doorn valt hem bij: \u201dAls bewoners zich genoodzaakt voelen om de wijkrechter erbij te halen heeft een woningcorporatie de morele plicht om daaraan mee te werken. Als iemand zijn recht wil halen, mag niemand dat blokkeren.
