In het dagelijks leven is hij docent Finance en Ethiek op Saxion Hogeschool in Deventer en Enschede. Marcel woont 22 jaar in Dalfsen en heeft nog steeds het gevoel dat &#8216;hij op vakantie is&#8217;, omdat Dalfsen zo&#8217;n prettige omgeving is.<br><br>Dalfsen moet een gemeente zijn waar jongeren kunnen blijven, ondernemers kunnen investeren en onderwijs dichtbij is<br><br><strong>Wat betekent D66 voor jou?<\/strong><br><br>D66 betekent voor mij democratie en sociaal liberalisme. Democratie moeten wij koesteren en voor blijven vechten, omdat het de beste bescherming is voor rechtszekerheid. Voor mij zijn democratie en vrijheid van meningsuiting de grootste goederen die wij hebben. Het sociale bij D66 is voor mij dat wij oog hebben voor iedereen. Je moet het zelf doen, maar soms heb je een duwtje in de rug nodig.<br><br><strong>Welke kansen zie jij voor jouw gemeente?<\/strong><br><br>Dalfsen ligt in een agrarisch gebied. Wij hebben meer koeien dan inwoners, zo simpel is het. Boeren, net als andere ondernemers, willen zekerheid. Als zij willen stoppen met hun bedrijf, biedt dit kansen om de woningnood op te lossen.\u00a0<br>Zelf ben ik actief in het onderwijs. Bedrijfsleven en onderwijs werken al veel met elkaar samen, maar dit kan nog beter met een eigen Voorgezet Onderwijst (VO) school in onze gemeente.
