Met een unaniem aangenomen motie roept D66 het college op om knellende regels te herzien, zodat alternatieve woonvormen zoals tiny houses, woningsplitsing en wonen op eigen erf w\u00e9l mogelijk Daar moeten we zuinig op zijn. Toch ziet D66 dat juist daar kansen liggen. Op erven staan regelmatig oude schuren die \u2013 onder nieuwe beleidskaders\u2013 ruimte kunnen bieden aan jonge starters of mantelzorgwoningen. Ook woningsplitsing kan helpen om de druk op de woningmarkt te verlichten.<br><br>Fractievoorzitter Dani\u00eblla Magermans benadrukte het belang van actie: <em>\u201cDe vraag naar woningen is veel groter dan het aanbod. Jongeren bijvoorbeeld moeten noodgedwongen hun toekomstplannen op pauze zetten. Er zijn creatieve alternatieven nodig. Zoals woningsplitsing, tiny houses en woningen op het achtererf. Daar moet nieuw, versoepeld beleid voor komen.\u201d<\/em><br><br>Omdat de gemeente Brummen beperkte ambtelijke capaciteit heeft, stelt D66 voor om een extern bureau in te schakelen. Dit bureau onderzoekt hoe andere landelijke gemeenten, zoals Lochem en Bronckhorst, al succesvol beleid hebben ingevoerd voor wonen in het buitengebied. Voor dit onderzoek wordt maximaal\u00a0 \u20ac 30.000,- vrijgemaakt.<br><br>Het college steunt het voorstel van D66: <em>\u201cWe krijgen geregeld aanvragen van inwoners met plannen voor een woning op hun erf. Nu moeten we vaak \u2018nee\u2019 verkopen vanwege verouderde regels.\u201d<\/em><br><br>De uitkomsten van het onderzoek en de voorgestelde beleidsaanpassingen worden nog dit jaar aan de raad voorgelegd, zodat ze kunnen worden meegenomen in de omgevingsvisie en de lokale woningbouw agenda. D66 wil dat Brummen niet alleen een gemeente is die bouwt, maar ook \u00e9\u00e9n die kansen ziet \u2013 \u00f3\u00f3k buiten de gebaande paden.
