is het Collegevoorstel (D66 wethouder van der Windt) voor uitbreiding van 30 km wegen in heel Bloemendaal met grote meerderheid aangenomen. Met deze nota wordt het reeds ingezette beleid op het gebied van cultuur versterkt met onder meer focus op de bibliotheek, muziekschool, cultuureducatie en onderwijs. D66 is een vroeg stadium op de bres gesprongen voor het behoud van de Bibliotheek en het zoveel mogelijk in stand houden van de boekencollectie. Dat is gelukt. Inhoudelijk is het beleid niet veranderd. Er waren twee amendementen ingebracht, die alleen de duidelijkheid en leesbaarheid aangingen. De Sportnota is niet alleen gericht op sport maar op bewegen in het algemeen. D66 vindt het een goede stap dat nu een integrale beleidsvisie is vastgelegd voor de langere termijn.\u00a0<br>D66 heeft nog wel vraagtekens bij de financi\u00eble ondersteuning van sportclubs door de gemeente. Volgens de provincie zou de bouw in strijd zijn met het geldende bestemmingsplan. Het college gaat hierover nadenken (waarvoor het 8 weken de tijd heeft). <br><br>Wij, fractie D66, tekenen daarbij aan dat het college in een brief van 4 november 2025 (zaaknummer 1342591, getiteld \u201c<em>Lezing bestemmingsplan Camping Vogelenzang en stand van zaken vergunningen<\/em>\u201d) aan de raad uitvoerig heeft uitgelegd (op grond van meervoudig juridisch advies) waarom de bouw van de chalets wel degelijk in overeenstemming is met het bestemmingsplan\/omgevingsplan en dat handhaving tegen de bouw van chalets daarom juridisch niet mogelijk is. <br><br><em>D66 betreurt verdwijnen betaalbaar kamperen<\/em><br>D66 tekent hierbij aan dat onze fractie, evenals vrijwel de gehele raad, de ontwikkelingen op Camping Vogelenzang waarbij betaalbare stacaravans worden vervangen door zeer dure \u2018chalets\u2019, betreurt. Staalslakken kunnen milieuschade en zelfs schade aan de gezondheid veroorzaken, bij direct contact. Verwijdering kost ongeveer \u20ac 200.000. <br><br>Bijna raadsbreed is er een motie opgesteld waarbij het college wordt gevraagd geen risico te nemen en de staalslakken onverwijld te verwijderen. Mogelijk kan de locatie voor woningbouw worden benut, waaronder ten behoeve van ouderen. In een motie heeft Hart voor Bloemendaal (HvB) het college, kort gezegd, gevraagd te onderzoeken of aankoop van het gebouw en de grond deze doelstelling dichterbij kan brengen. <br>De meerderheid van de raad, waaronder D66, vindt aankoop prematuur, voor zover dit sowieso gewenst is.
