Onze planeet warmt snel op. D66 kiest voor duurzaam en zet klimaat op 1. We zetten in op schone energie \u00e9n besparing. De bereikbaarheid in de hele regio staat onder druk. D66 kiest er voor om fors te investeren in de mobiliteit en infra in de regio. De OV-verbindingen moeten worden verbeterd, zodat we een volwaardig en groen alternatief bieden, dat bovendien sneller is dan de auto. zo zorgen wij er voor dat alle kernen in de Gooi en Vechtstreek bereikbaar blijven.<br><br>D66 zet zich oa in voor de HOV-verbinding van Almere naar Utrecht (via het Gooi), een verbeterde samenwerking tussen de vervoerregio\u2019s Amsterdam en Utrecht bij de bereikbaarheid van de Gooi- en Vechtstreek. Onze biodiversiteit wordt ernstig bedreigd. D66 vertelt het eerlijke verhaal. We moeten drastisch inzetten op natuurinclusieve landbouw en de eerlijke productie van beter voedsel. Zo kunnen we in de Gooi en Vechtstreek blijven genieten van onze bossen, heide en plassen.<br><br>Door de stikstofcrisis staat de natuur onder druk en stagneert de bouw van woningen en infrastructuur. We moeten scherpe keuzes maken om Noord-Holland weer van het slot te halen. Bij de reductie van de stikstof moeten alle sectoren (landbouw, verkeer en industrie) evenredig bijdragen.<br><br>Een gemiddelde maaltijd reist duizenden km voordat het bij ons op het bord ligt, terwijl in Noord-Holland prachtige en voedzame producten geteeld worden. D66 bevordert daarom de consumptie uit de korte keten, zowel bij (primaire) producenten als bij andere betrokkenen in de keten, zoals supermarkten en consumenten.<br>We moeten meer investeren in biodiversiteit, bodemkwaliteit, schoon water en natuur. D66 wil dat boeren natuurinclusief en diervriendelijker gaan produceren.<br><br>De toenemende druk op recreatie heeft negatieve effecten op de natuur. In sommige\u00a0 natuurgebieden \u2013 zoals de Noordzeekust, het Goois Natuur Reservaat (GNR) en het Enkhuizerstrand\u00a0 is het te druk en komt de biodiversiteit in het gedrang. D66 wil dat (dag)recreatie en natuur beter worden ontsloten met routestructuren (wandelen, fietsen, varen) en Toeristische Overstappunten (TOPs).<br><br>Uiteenlopende vogelsoorten komen naar het Eemmeer en het Gooimeer om te broeden of te\u00a0 foerageren. Samen met de provincies Flevoland en Utrecht en de betreffende gemeenten wordt het beheer van dit Natura 2000-gebied afgestemd. Voldoende rust is van cruciaal belang om het gebied voor vogels aantrekkelijk te houden. Dit botst met de behoefte aan recreatie in deze regio. Het gaat voor D66 allemaal om de inwoner. Daar doen we het voor! Die moet centraal staan in alles wat we doen. Daarom gaat D66 o.a. voor participatie aan het begin van processen die de inwoner raken.\u00a0<br><br>D66 is voor een breed instrumentarium, zoals burgerfora en burgerberaden en referenda. Jongeren moeten daar uitdrukkelijk bij worden betrokken. Gemeenten zijn het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de inwoner. De Provincie houdt financieel toezicht op de gemeenten. D66 wil een permanente dialoog tussen Provincie en gemeenten,\u00a0 op gelijkwaardige basis, over de bestuurskracht van gemeenten.<br>D66 is g\u00e9\u00e9n voorstander van gemeentelijke fusies die zich beperken tot het ambtelijke niveau. Alleen al voor de energietransitie zijn er duizenden mensen extra per jaar nodig in Noord-Holland. Vooral het vinden van technisch personeel is lastig maar alle sectoren kampen met personeelsgebrek. D66 streeft naar een wendbare en inclusieve arbeidsmarkt. Teveel mensen in onze Provincie kunnen geen passende woning vinden. Daarom wil D66 dat de Provincie meer regie naar zich toe trekt en de\u00a0 woningbouw versnelt. Daarnaast staat voor D66 de kwaliteit van wonen voorop. Zowel in een duurzame woning als een fijne leefomgeving met bijvoorbeeld groen dichtbij huis. Goede ontsluiting van woningbouw is essentieel voor de aantrekkingskracht van nieuwe woonlocaties. Hierbij staat voor D66 voorop dat de Provincie duurzaam vervoer prioriteit geeft.
