D66 gaat dit zeer aan het hart en heeft informatie ingewonnen bij de wethouder. Helaas heeft dit pand geen beschermde status, ook al is het heel beeldbepalend en zijn veel inwoners van Schoorl gecharmeerd van de uitstraling van het pand.
