Het principe van afval loont is dat gescheiden afval kan worden ingeleverd op de daarvoor bestemde inleverpunten en voor het inleveren krijgt men een vergoeding per kilo ingeleverd afval. Naast deze vergoeding zal afval loont zich ook bezig houden met educatie van afval scheiding op o.a. scholen. Deze educatieve kant is iets wat D66 graag ziet omdat het scheiden van afval de afgelopen jaren gestagneerd is. Er zal dus een gedragsverandering moeten plaatsvinden.<\/div>\n<div>Afval loont zal binnenkort gaan beginnen in Barendrecht en heeft een proefperiode van twee jaar.
