Met dit doel dienden D66, ChristenUnie, PvdA, AOP en Arnhem Centraal op 18 december hun initiatiefvoorstel \u2018Geregeld Beheer bij Kamerverhuur\u2019 in. \u201cOmwonenden noemen het niet aanspreekbaar zijn van pandeigenaren een belangrijk knelpunt bij kamerverhuur\u201d, constateert D66-raadslid Sjoerd Dijk. \u201cDit initiatiefvoorstel lost dit knelpunt op korte termijn kamerverhuur en woningsplitsing bekend. Een verplichting tot \u2018Geregeld beheer\u2019 in de APV, zoals de zes partijen nu voorstellen, maakt daar geen deel van uit. Studentwoningen ondervinden echter vaak weerstand van omwonenden.
