Op de Amsterdamse woningmarkt zijn mensen die niet wonen in een passende woning \u00e9\u00e9n van de grote knelpunten. Zoals alleenstaande ouderen die wonen in een ruime gezinswoning terwijl gezinnen in een te krappe woning zitten. Aslami: \u201cHet op gang brengen van de grootste verhuisketen is &#8211; naast meer bouwen en reguleren &#8211; belangrijk in de huidige wooncrisis. Het verbeteren van de doorstroom kan 25.000 grote corporatiewoningen vrijspelen voor Amsterdamse families, dat is ruim 10% van het totale corporatiebezit in Amsterdam.<\/strong>&#8221;\t<\/p>\t block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tVoor de doorstroom op de woningmarkt is het essentieel dat ouderen gemakkelijker naar een woning kunnen die aansluit op hun behoeften, zoals een lift of wonen op de begane grond. Want ouderen laten vaak een ruime corporatiewoning achter, uit onderzoek van de woningcorporaties blijkt dat het gaat om ongeveer 25.000 grote woningen. En de verwachting is dat door vergrijzing dit aantal de komende jaren toeneemt. Terwijl \u00e9\u00e9n op drie ouderen aangeeft bereid is te verhuizen naar een geschikte woning.<br><br>De gemeente Amsterdam kent twee regelingen om ouderen aan een passende woning te helpen, \u2018Van Groot Naar Beter\u2019 (VGNB) en \u2018Van Hoog Naar Laag\u2019. Alleen de resultaten van beide regelingen vallen tegen. Ook moet een centraal doorstroomloket, dat toeziet op de verschillende verhuisregelingen binnen de gemeente, fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt om ouderen te helpen in het proces. Daarnaast dient er ook een fysiek proces mogelijk te zijn, want veel ouderen hebben moeite met het digitale proces. Het is volgens D66 ook noodzakelijk om maatwerk te faciliteren, want te rigide regels resulteren er vaak in dat ouderen niet kunnen, of gaan, verhuizen.
