fietsen binnen de gemeente Alphen aan den Rijn en heeft de ambitie uitgesproken de fietsstad van het Groene Hart te worden. Om deze ambitie handen en voeten te geven heeft er voor de zomer een fietsconferentie plaatsgevonden, waarbij allerlei personen, groepen en partijen hun input hebben kunnen geven. Ook wordt er expliciet aandacht besteed aan het stimuleren van het fietsen. Samen met omliggende provincies werkt Alphen ook aan zogenaamde doorfietsroutes tussen Alphen en andere steden om zo ook woon-werkverkeer per fiets aantrekkelijker te maken. Verder heeft zij aandacht gevraagd voor de veiligheid van fietsers en andere verkeersdeelnemers, nu steeds meer elektrisch wordt gefietst en de snelheidsverschillen toenemen.\t<\/p>\t
