later moment weer te kunnen worden gebruikt voor zaken als irrigatie van het groen in het centrum. Daarbij valt bijvoorbeeld te denken aan <br>&#8211; het tegengaan van wateroverlast, <br>&#8211; verantwoord omgaan met water,<br>&#8211; het tegengaan van hittestress. <br><br>Doordat de ervaringen in Alphen breed in Europa kunnen worden toepast wordt een significante maatschappelijke bijdrage geleverd en positioneert Alphen aan den Rijn zich als stad die duurzaamheid serieus neemt. <br><br>D66 heeft aandacht gevraagd voor zorgvuldig omgaan met eventuele risico\u2019s en het tijdig betrekken van winkeliers en inwoners zodat onnodige overlast door bouwwerkzaamheden kan worden
