Ik woon sinds kort in Gasselternijveenschemond met mijn twee volwassen kinderen. De gemeente Aa en Hunze is niet nieuw voor mij. Ik ben opgegroeid in Gieterveen en woonde ook in Eext en Gasselternijveen.\t<\/p><section class=\"people-bullet-point-card block-people-introduction__people-bullet-point-card\" style=\"--bg-color: var(--global-colors-texasRose)\">\n\t<div class=\"people-bullet-point-card__wrapper\">\n\t\t<div class=\"people-bullet-point-card__title\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"heading    heading__font--sans heading__weight--bold\" id=\"nav-over-marita176\" data-nav-heading-mobile=\"Over Marita\">\n\tOver Marita<\/h2>\t\t\t<div aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"people-bullet-point-card__border\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"people-bullet-point-card__info\">\n\t\t\t<ul class=\"lists\">\n\t\t\t\t<li><label>Leeftijd<\/label><span>45 jaar<\/span><\/li>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li><label>Woonplaats<\/label><span>Gasselternijveen-schemond<\/span><\/li>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section><p class=\"paragraph paragraph__align--left paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default\">\n\t\tSinds 2022 ben ik raadslid voor D66 in Aa en Hunze. Ik heb me<br>ingezet voor een dienstbare gemeente die duidelijk communiceert<br>en laat zien wat ze doet. De gemeente staat als lokale overheid<br>dicht bij inwoners en kan daardoor echt het verschil maken. Bij alles  wat we doen moet het effect daarvan op inwoners centraal staan, maar dat alleen is niet genoeg. Alleen als inwoners echt invloed kunnen hebben, zullen ze zich betrokken voelen. Alleen als inwoners kunnen begrijpen wat we doen en waarom we het doen, zullen zij ervaren dat de overheid er is voor hen.<br><br>De rode draad in alles wat we doen is daarom communicatie en<br>participatie. Hier is gelukkig steeds meer aandacht voor, maar om<br>dit echt goed te doen is een cultuurverandering nodig. Dat is niet<br>van de ene op de andere dag geregeld, maar vraagt een lange<br>adem. Daar wil ik me graag voor blijven inzetten de komende jaren.<br><br>Naast mijn werk als raadslid ben ik financieel adviseur en<br>echtscheidingsbegeleider. Ook daarin vind ik het belangrijk om de<br>mens centraal te stellen, niet de cijfers. Ik ben gewend mensen in<br>moeilijke situaties te begeleiden en complexe onderwerpen helder<br>uit te leggen, zodat we samen stap voor stap tot oplossingen<br>komen.<br><br>In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, het liefst buiten in de mooie natuur<br>die Aa en Hunze rijk is.
